Terms of Use

iKnoBall (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is an all-time sports draft game — spanning the NBA, NFL, Premier League, NHL, and MLB — published by Statusphere. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Statusphere governing your use of iKnoBall on the web and on iOS. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, tapping “continue,” or otherwise using iKnoBall, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use iKnoBall.

License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use iKnoBall for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content, or attempt to access it in any way other than through the interfaces we provide.

Your account & conduct

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure.
Choose a BallerTag / username that is not offensive and does not impersonate someone else or contain personal information.
Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, or otherwise manipulate leaderboards, points, streaks, or multiplayer results.
Do not harass other players, upload unlawful content, or use the app for any illegal purpose.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse the service.

Entertainment only — no real-money gambling

iKnoBall is a game of skill and knowledge for entertainment purposes only. Points, ranks, streaks, and in-game rewards have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes, and are not a form of wagering or gambling. Simulated seasons and outcomes are for fun and do not represent real games or real betting of any kind.

Subscriptions & payments

iKnoBall is free to play. We may offer an optional subscription that unlocks additional features. If you purchase a subscription:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

All purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, text, graphics, and the iKnoBall name and logo are owned by Statusphere and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Team names, player names, and league references are used for identification and commentary purposes; iKnoBall is not endorsed by or affiliated with any league, team, or player.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ratings, simulations, and trivia are accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Statusphere will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

Termination

You may stop using iKnoBall at any time and can delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
