iKnoBall

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

iKnoBall (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is an all-time sports draft game — spanning the NBA, NFL, Premier League, NHL, and MLB — published by Statusphere. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. iKnoBall requires a free account — you sign up with an email address and a password — so your username, seasons, stats, and group memberships are saved to you and stay consistent across the web app and the iOS app.

Information we collect

We do notcollect your precise location, contacts, photos, or device hardware or advertising identifiers. Beyond the email used to sign in, we do not ask for your real name — your public identity is the username you choose.

Waitlist (before launch)

Before the app is released, you can join our pre-launch waitlist on our website (iknoball.com) by submitting your email address. We store that email with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) for a single purpose: to notify you when iKnoBall is available to download. Waitlist emails are kept private — they are never shown publicly, are not used for advertising, and are not sold or shared with third parties. To be removed from the waitlist, email team@statuspheresolutions.com and we will delete your address.

How we use information

Where your data is stored

Your account and data are stored with Google Firebase, which acts as our data processor:

Data is held on Google’s servers and handled under Google’s privacy and security terms. We have not enabled Google Analytics or any advertising SDKs in this app.

What is visible to others

Leaderboards and multiplayer are public features of the game. Your username, season records, points, and — after a head-to-head match — your drafted roster are visible to other players on the global board, in head-to-head and tournament play, and to members of any group you join. Your email address is never shownto other players. Please don’t put personal information in your username.

Sharing

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. Data is shared only with Google Firebase as the infrastructure that runs accounts, leaderboards, and matchmaking, and where required by law.

Children’s privacy

iKnoBall is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the username is free text, we ask that no one enter personal information there. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your account and the data tied to it — your profile, username, stats, leaderboard entries, and group memberships — until you ask us to delete it. You can delete your account and its associated data right in the app at any time under Profile → Delete Account. You can also request deletion by email — write to team@statuspheresolutions.com from or referencing your account email, and we will remove your account and the records tied to it. Your scores are removed from the leaderboards when your account is deleted.

Security

Sign-in and passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication, which stores credentials in hashed form, and all communication with our servers uses HTTPS. We use access rules on the database to restrict who can read and write data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
